Ok! you’ve reached my page..Next year (2016) it will be thirty years as a commercial photographer. my work includes many years in
advertising with clients ranging from Distilleries to Hotel groups, the largest part of Scottish Corporate bodies to universities
and arts foundations.
Theatres and national magazines. Trained as a Photographer at Napier University in Edinburgh (1986) , then after assisted; served
an apprenticeship with one of the leading lights of the eighties in Scottish advertising, a foundation that served me so well that after
three years on my own I had an award, Gold, for the best illustrative still life in a world competition
exhibited at the Art Directors Guild in New York.USA..
I never sought to attain accolades ,however there are many compliments to my efforts to illustrate client activity. Still life. Landscape.

Scottish water gave me the opportunity to record its infrastructure changes as it reached international standards in water management.Developments for industry and housing in government departments by shooting the country’s social needs programmes. Scottish brewers as they metamorphosed into international brands. From manufacturing to leisure and lifestyle.Hotels and sponsored events like sailing and rugby. Shot productions for the ensemble companies in Scottish theatre that travel the world. Have photographed many of scotland’s entrepreneurs for magazines published on a world stage. I still take commissions and travel extensively for clients. I've mentioned Scotland in my words so far. Now I travel further , so have camera will travel. effective at meeting requirements wherever.
